Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Trabzon Tour

Start the adventure with an early morning pick-up from the hotel in Trabzon. Our first stop will be Sumela Monastery, built centuries ago in the foothills of Karadag and located on the boundaries of Altindere National Park. After the visit to the Monastery, we will begin the journey of Zigana Mountain and have lunch at the restaurant among the pine trees. After a brief rest at the restaurant, there will be a visit to the Karaca Cave, which is in the province of Torul and belongs to Gumushane. A visit to the cave system offers a visual treat to its visitors with its stalactites and stalagmites. The day’s activities will end with a transfer back to the hotel and staying overnight there.

Day 2 - Trabzon Tour

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the hotel and depart for the second day in Trabzon with our tour guide team. The second day will begin with a tour of the picturesque Uzungol Lake. There will be a stroll through the waterfalls, allowing visitors plenty of time to stop and marvel at the local landscape. After lunch and a brief rest, the tour will continue to Karastel Plateau to view the Uzungol from the top. Here, tourists are welcome to participate in paragliding activities if they wish. After that, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3 - Trabzon Tour

After breakfast, our third day in Trabzon will officially commence, starting with the tour to Rize. On the way, there will be a visit to the Rize fabric weaving artisanship which will introduce the Laz culture to the tourists. The group will arrive at Firtina Stream following the tea gardens along the Blacksea Coast and watch the rafting activities there. Tourists can also participate in the zip-line activities there. After, there will be a short lunch break at the Firtina Valley which will follow a visit to the Palovit Waterfall. The tour will continue from there to the Ayder Plateau. Our guests can trek or take a bath in the worldwide-known Ayder Thermal spot. The tour will end there and the group will transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Check Out

Enjoy one last breakfast in Trabzon before preparing to depart to the airport. Arrive at the airport for the Istanbul flight.

This trip was well organized with everything happening right on schedule. It was a beautiful experience and definitely one to remember! Our guide was great and really tried hard to ensure that we got the most out of our days. The hotel that we stayed at was cozy and great. Would have liked to go to the Black Sea coast but bad weather hit the area. Highly recommend Ilink to anyone wanting to go to Trabzon.
