TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Itinerary

Day 1 - Cairo Arrival and Tour

Begin your adventure upon arrival at Cairo airport. Our tour team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Our first stop will be the Egyptian Museum. Then we will continue to the Khan el Khalili bazaar to browse vibrant fabrics, handicrafts, and antique displays. Our next stop will be the National Museum of Egypt located in El Fustat, the first capital of Egypt during the early Islamic era. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is in the heart of the old Cairo city with ancient artifacts dating back to 4,500 years. Stop by for lunch nearby. Our last stop for the day will be the Salah El-Din Citadel, which dates back to 1176 when it served as the capital until 1860. Tourists can also visit the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque or Alabaster Mosque in the citadel. Transfer back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 2 - Aswan Tour

Enjoy an early breakfast and check out from the hotel to transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Aswan. Arrive in Aswan and transfer to the hotel and check in. From there, set off for the tour of Aswan. Our first stop will be the "High Dam" built between 1960 and 1970. Next will be the Unfinished Obelisk, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple alongside the Lateran Obelisk. The obelisk is 42 meters tall, weighs 1200 tons, and is still an incredible sight to see in Aswan. After a quick lunch, our next stop will be the Temple of Philae, which was constructed for the ancient deity of love and beauty, Isis. It is famous for displaying the "Myth of Osiris" on its walls which tells the story of the husband of Isis "Osiris" being killed by his evil brother "Set". Aside from the ancient carvings, the temple itself is a pleasure to see and explore. Afterward, transfer back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 3 - Luxor Tour

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and check out to transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Luxor. Begin your adventure by arriving at the Luxor airport, where our tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel to check in. From there, our Luxor adventure will begin. Get ready for a drive to Dendera, where we will begin our tour of one of Egypt's best-preserved temple complexes, located 60km north of Luxor. The 40,000 square meter complex temples, chapels, and shrines, were gradually constructed over many centuries. Next, we will see Dendera's famous 2000-year-old Temple of Hathor, with its exquisitely decorated ceiling. Afterward, drive back to the hotel where tourists are free to spend the day at their leisure. Take a stroll around town or enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel pool to relax and prepare for the next day.

Day 4 - Luxor Tour

After breakfast, get ready for the tour of Luxor’s famous West Bank. Our first stop will be the famous Valley of the Kings, which is filled with beautifully decorated tombs, including the tombs of Ramses II, Seti I, Amenhotep II, and King Tutankhamun. After exploring this site, the tour will continue towards the site of the Valley of the Queens and the beautiful limestone, colonnaded Temple of Hatshepsut, who was one of only three Egyptian ruling queens. Next, we will see the enormous 18m-high Colossi of Memnon, which is the temple's remains of Amenophis III. Afterward, there will be a short lunch break. Our last stop of the day will be the site of the colossal Temple of Karnak, which is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, chapels, halls, and obelisks. Afterward, transfer back to the hotel for a stay overnight.

Day 5 - Check Out

Catch a late breakfast at the hotel and prepare to check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport to catch the flight back home.

What a trip that was!! We really enjoyed ourselves visiting all the attractions and ate a ton of delicious and exquisite Egyptian food. I personally loved visiting the Valley of the Kings. Seeing the tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs and learning about their lives. Our hotels were all perfect and they gave us a complimentary breakfast too. Would love to book you guys again if I ever go to Egypt again.
