Itinerary
Begin your adventure upon arrival at the Ankara Airport. Our tour team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel to check in. Take some time to explore the city on your own during the day.
Enjoy a hearty Turkish breakfast to get ready for a full-day Ankara tour. Our first stop will be the Anitkabir, the mausoleum of the Turkish founder, Kemal Atatturk. The second stop will be at the after at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, containing mesmerizing Antolian ancient artifacts belonging to previous civilizations in Anatolia. Stop by for lunch at a nearby cafe and then we will visit the famous Ankara Castle, dating back to Roman times and is a prominent landmark of the city. Then we will visit the city’s famous Kocatepe Mosque. Featuring beautiful Ottoman architecture, this mosque is a must-visit place. Then we will visit Kugulu Park for a rest, which features a lake with swans. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Begin day 3 of the tour with checking out of the hotel and leaving for the airport for the Cappadocia flight. Arrive in Cappadocia and check in at your hotel.
Enjoy a hearty Turkish breakfast to get ready for a full-day Cappadocia tour. The first stop on the tour will be the Uchisar Castle where you will enjoy a guided tour complete with historical insights about the rich history of Cappadocia and the unique rock formations. The second stop will be the Goreme Open Museum, which is known to be one of the first monasteries in the history of Christianity. The third stop will be Avanos, one of the oldest settlements of Cappadocia. This visit includes lunch and a short tour along the Kızılırmak River. After lunch, explore the Pasabag or Monk Valley. There will also be a chance to see the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. Tourists can also choose a hot-air balloon tour if they wish to. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, the rest of the tour will continue with an excursion to the Red Valley, an area that attracts attention with its red color in the very center of Cappadocia. From there, explore the Love Valley, which is one of the most well-known and photographed areas of Cappadocia. Afterward, the tour will include a stop at the Pigeon Valley, one of the iconic visiting areas of Cappadocia. The tour will continue with Kaymakli Underground City, the biggest architectural marvel which was built from the time of the Hittites to shelter, hide, and sustain life. Tourists can also choose a hot-air balloon tour if they wish to. Transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and leave for the airport to catch the flight back to Istanbul Airport. Wait there for your flight back home from the Istanbul Airport.
