Overview

Bursa has a lot of famous ancient sites, and one of them is the famous Green Mosque and Tomb. The mosque was built in 1421 by the famous Ottoman patron of the arts Hacı İvaz Pasha, and is now a famous architectural wonder of Bursa. The Mosque and the Tomb of Sultan Mehmed Celebi are both recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for their historical importance and being a famous Early Ottoman architectural feat.
