Saadian Tombs
Overview
Built in the 16th Century, the Saadian tombs are the famous resting place or necropolis of the former Saadian dynasty who ruled over some parts of Morocco. Known for their unique Moroccan architecture style and interesting history, the Saadian Tombs is one of the famous travel destinations in all of Marrakech. The most famous structure in the tombs is of Sultan Ahmad Al-Mansur’s tomb whose tomb chamber is built with exquisite Italian marble and supported with twelve columns.
