Wadi Rum

Aqaba Fort

Aqaba Fort has a unique place in the hearts of the city's inhabitants. Built-in the 11th century, Aqaba Fort was initially used as a travelers’ inn for those visiting Mecca and Medina to perform Hajj. Today, the restored fort is a monument to those who fought against the Ottoman Empire’s hold over Jordan in the Arab Revolt.

  • Opening Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Thursday and Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM from Friday to Saturday
  • Entry Fee: $4.23 per person (for Foreigners)

Aqaba Marine Reserve

Featuring an abundance of marine life, from coral reefs to different kinds of fishes, Aqaba Marine Reserve is the best place to go for those who love marine life and prefer a quieter environment. The marine reserve, located in the beautiful Gulf of Aqaba, features a highly diverse climate and landscape, from sandy beaches to rocky land routes. The beautiful views from the beaches at night make Aqaba Marine Reserve a must-visit place for tourists.
